I would like to welcome you to our web site. As a community we have accomplished so much:
- Created the North End Community Action Committee.
- Held five neighborhood cleanups.
- Reorganized the neighborhood crime watch.
- Reorganized the North End Housing Development Corporation.
- Held 5 annual 'Septemberfests.'
- Improved the Prete Metcalf Baseball Field on Hawkins Street (Home of the North End Wanskuck Litttle League).
- Improvements to the Hopkins Park Soccor Field (Home of the Guatemalen Soccor League).
- Oversaw improvements to the Hopkins Square Park, located at the corner of Branch Avenue and Charles Street.
- Brought Opera in the Park performances to Hopkins Square.
- Brought in over $2,000,000.00 to our neighborhood in improvements.

2/23/2012 - Join Councilman Narducci along with the Friends of Providence Animal Care and Control Center for a wine tasting hosted by Chis Gasbarro's Fine Wine and Spirits and sposored by Woonsocket Health Rehabilitation Centre. The event will take place Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at their Seekonk Ma. location 98 highland Ave. Route 6 Seekonk Ma. 02771. The cost of a ticket is $25.00 per person and can be purchased at the door or by contacting Florette Ruggiero at fruggiero@cox.net. Friends of PACCS, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) group which was formed to help the homeless animals in the City of Providence while they await adoption from the municipal shelter. We are a volunteer organization and all the money raised goes directly to benefit these animals. Click Here for Directions

12/8/2011 - Councilman Nicholas J. Narducci, Jr. , Representative John DeSimone and the North End Community Action Committee hosted the annual "Childrens Christmas Party". This event helped us bring joy this Holiday Season to over 50 children in our neighborhood. Click here for pictures.

Narducci, Jr. & Representative John DeSimone co-hosted the annual "Holiday Celebration".Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the St. Anthony's Knights of Columbus Volturno Street, North Providence. 12/3/2011 - Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) from Classical High School held a "Toy Drive" Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Wanskuck Boy's & Girl's Club. 9/24/2011 - Councilman Narducci and the North End Community Action Committee will hosted it's 5th annual "Septemberfest". This free neighborhood event. There was bouncy houses, obstacle course, pony rides, entertainment and a free hot dog rost. The event was hel at the Prete Metcalf Filed located on Hawkins Street. "I would like to thank the over 40 business thta donated to this years event and also all the organizations that came out to support our neighborhood." Councilman narducci said. 9/12/2011 - Providence Police announced that Lt. Dan Gannon from District 7 will move into a new roll within the Department.The new district commander is Lt. Alyssa Deandrade. Lt. Deandrade come to us from the south side and has extensive leadership qualities. " I asked for this position when I heard it was available. I look forward to being back where I started over sveral years ago." Lt. Dandrade said. 8/12/2011 -On August 12, Councilman Narducci and the residents of Chad Brown opened the Chad Brown Water Park. "I am very excited about openng up the water park. It is with the suport of the community we were able to accomplish this." Councilman Narducci said. The water park is located behind the Rudolph Tavares Recreation Center, 263 Chad Brwon Street, Providence and is open from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Click here for pictures.
7/30/2011 - The North End Wanskuck Little League hosted the 5th annual Michael Day Tournament. Michael Day was a Deputy Fire Chief with the Providence Fire Department who died while on duty. Click here for pictures.
7/10/2011 -The North End is proud to host "Opera in the Park". This is a free concert that showcases the talent of Opera Providence. " I am pleased once again that Opera Providence has chosen Hopkins Square to be the background of their free summer concert series". councilman Narducci said. Come out and enjoy a great show and its free. The concerts take place July 10, 17, 24, and 31 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Hopkins Square located at the intersection of Branch Avenue and Charles Street in Providence. 7/8/2011 - Councilman Narducci, his daughter Nicole and the Providence
Fire Fighters Union local 799 hosted its annual fundraiser for St. Baldricks.
St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding
the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give
survivors long and healthy lives. The event will took Place Friday, July
8, 2011 at the Union Hall located at 92 Printery St. Providence RI. "I
want to thank all that suported such a great cause and a special thanks
goes out to the member of local 799 for hosting this event". councilman
Narducci said. " With the hard work of my daughter Nicole, the members
of local 799 and all those who donated we raised over $4000.00. Click

6/28/2011 - Councilman Narducci hosted the 4th Annual Have a Heart Fundraiser to benefit "Help 4 Animals". "Help 4 Animals" is a non-profit agency dedicated to preventing animal overpopulation by educating the public, providing low cost spay/neuter in our neighborhood. The fundraiser took place on Tuesday, June 28, 2011at 6:00 pm at the St. Anthony's Society Club Located at 637 Charles Street, Providence. Click here for pictures.
6/18/2011 - Councilman Narducci joined Students, Staff, Neigborhood Residents, Past Staff and Past Students in an end of the year celebration at Windmill Street School. "It was great to see everyone come together one last time before the school closes". Councilman Narducci said. "It was sad to hear some of the students saying how they are going to miss everyone and that they do not know where they will be come September" . Click here for pictures.
6/18/2011 - Councilman Narducci joined the residents, staff of the Providence Housing and the Providence Police Department in celebrating Fathers Day at the annual celebration. "It is great to see the change that has come to the Chad Brown Housing Complex over the last few years." Councilman Narducci said. 6/16/2011 - Councilman Narducci joined the residents and staff at the Bannister Nursing Center in Providence to honor the students of Esek Hopkins Middle School for their volunteer program they participated in. "The residents had a great time over the last few weeks talking and playing games with these fine young men and women". Councilman Narducci said. "It was great to see first hand the frindships that were made. It was my honor to recognize the youth of our city for something great that they did". Click here for pictures.
